A lovely man - who remembers the Brut ads with Kevin Keegan?
R.I.P.
I dont like boxing at all, never follow it, never watch it
But
loved Henry Cooper tho, everyone i should imagine must of known of him, and yes i remember the ads
RIP
Life is serious but taking it too seriously robs you of
happiness, fun and productivity
RIP Henry - a true gent.
RIP Henry, what a lovely man.
RIP Henry.
Thank you for the Memory's,
both in the ring and out of it.
That IS sad news. Years ago I lived and worked in Guernsey. I met a lot of so called stars, famous people over there. I worked in hotels and a nightclub too. I served Henry Cooper when he was a resident at the Duke of Richmond hotel where I was working at the time, also in the nightclub Barbarellas, which was part of the Old Government House or OGH as we called it. He was a lovely man. The boxers used to come over there regularly, we used to have boxing at St Martins Hote tool and Joe Bugner invited me and my friends to a party there, I was only 16 at the time, we refused him though!
RIP Henry. He was a great character and will be sadly missed.
