Don't worry Shermari,
We seem to be getting many new members who are listing quite a few items.
And for the last few days we have been going up by a few thousand listings a day.
I think that is much better than going up 100,000, then back down 100,000 a couple of days later.
I think we will catch ecrater up again in a few weeks with slow steady growth.
Of course ecrater seems to have slow steady growth as well, but ours seems to be bigger.
Our Alexa is approx 9,000, ecrater is on 4,000, so imagine the extra buyers and sellers when we get to that level!
The number going down (and the graph going up), means more 'logins' to eBid are being made...
Here's a post from a new member, who said that our rising Alexa numbers helped them chose ebid!

We are rising pretty fast now. The more who join us the better.
eCrater can be ignored. It is not an auction site at all, but a site where the seller creates a store and the buyer can then search for items and get a list of all the matching items from all the stores.
All good things come to those who wait, and wait, and wait.....

Yes I always push the fact that of all the alts ebid is great as it one of the few large ones to do auctions.
But as MPS16 says, auctions are nowhere near as popular these days.
They suit certain items of course but many people just want to buy something now.
