Just wanting some advice on selling here. and HI everyone, how is everyone today?

Hi Meredith and welcome to ebid.net. There is lots of helpful advice here in the forums. Look for the "how to" threads and advice for new sellers threads. I looked at your auctions and about me page. I prefer where I can see the pictures. Looked nice. Your about me page needs a little tweeking. Have a read through and I think you will see what I mean. Everything else seems on the right track. Good Luck with sales.

Hi there, welcome to ebid
Yes your About Me page loloks nice, but has a few typos.
It also mentions ebay and emailing you !
Also I would not say why I need to sell on ebid, eg we are all facing hard times, you don't want people to feel sorry for you!
At this stage I'd make my listings with a BIN and run them for 7 days with 10 auto-relists, that way they will rise to the top of the browsing lists and get seen.
And make sure you have a gallery pic.
Don't expect huge sales right away, ebid is growing but its no where near as big as ebay
Post of on the forums and ask questions and run the off Plug Your Auctions post.
Hello and welcome to eBid
Some very good advice already offered.
Your About Me page looks very nice. However, I am a bit confused about the instructions on changing the url for a picture? Did you mean to include those?
Good luck with your sales
Hi and welcome to eBid.
You will need to remove your Ebay links and email link on your Me page. Ecommerce links and email links are not allowed on Me pages, listings and forums.
You will need to change your terms about responsibility of broken/damaged items. You ARE responsible for getting the item to your customer in good order / as described whether they pay for insurance or not. Paypal will side with the buyer if such a transaction should happen.
You will need Buy Now prices for your items to be picked up by Google search. You can combine the start bid price (at the lowest you are willing to accept because there are rare to none bidding wars here) and add a Buy Now price or just use a Buy Now price.
Hope this helps some.
Seems good advise offerred by several...........for starters. Stay active in the forums, ask questions on improving your selling as things come up. Tons of developed help tools available, ie, eBid's help tab, instructional videos, instructional links developed by eBid members, etc.
Hi and welcome to eBid.
All good advice, especially the removal of eBay links (not allowed) and using the BIN (as BIN items are uploaded to Google shopping) with 7 days and auto relist options. Some sellers also use social networking sites (as Facebook and Twitter) to plug their items for sale and contact former customers to let them know they're selling here. Oh and you can use the Plug Your Auctions section of the forum 1x per day to let others know what you're selling.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
dont forget to promote your sales on facebook, twitter and whatever other social networks you are on!
eBid has an integrated button available that makes it very easy to send your auctions to FB or twitter.
