    Default Ninja Lister Shipping Calculator

1 - For the life of me, I can not figure out how to properly use the Ninja Lister's shipping calculator.
I use flat fee to 3 different areas: USA, Canada, Rest of the world.
For ex, US: $5, Canada: $10, Rest of the world: $15

How do I correctly state this in Ninja Lister?

2 - Is there a problem using bulk upload (.txt tab delimited file) to choose column "J" = duration?
I chose "run until sold" but on the site, it has the 90 day clock counting down.

Not yet. The shipping interface on the Ninja is impossible to figure out.
I list everything as Fixed Price with multiple quantities....and I use 3 different shipping areas: USA, Canada and rest of the world (Asia, EU, S America, etc).
For ex: US - $5, Canada - $10; Everywhere else: $15. And each additional item they buy will get 50% off the original ship.
I can not figure out how to do this from Ninja. The workaround I have been using is to upload everything from Ninja, then download the TXT file to my Excel..then do the shipping portion in my Excel ...then re-upload. This works but it's a lot of extra work.

Also, I am still having problems with the duration part using the TXT file. It says RUN UNTIL SOLD in column "J" but it comes through as 90 days in the website.

I also some times 'fine tune' my listings after I've uploaded them. It's OK for me that way, because I'm only slowly listing 1 or 2 items at a time.
The only part I've looked into since seeing your thread is to do with the
"3 different shipping areas: USA, Canada and rest of the world" (not sure about the 50% off part though).
If you want me to post pitures on how to just do those 3 zones - just say so, and I'll put it up.

OK.... I'll try my best here (it's new for me too)

Since you live in the US, bear in mind that the pics I'm posting are from the 'Australian' point of view...

Step 1 (the easy one) - select your 'Domestic' panel (top right of your ninja 'Edit Auction' page):

So just fill in the appropriate 'shipping type' in the left column....
Then enter your $5.00 on the right side and click 'OK' at the bottom.
That's it for the domestic entry.

    next.............................................. ...........................

This is a little more tricky.....

Open the 'International' shipping panel (again, top right of Edit Auction Page).....

Your other 2 entries go here, but for ease we'll do them in the order of:

    #First - Rest of the World ....... then #Second - Canada.

    Name: PIC 2.jpg
Views: 39
Size: 67.5 KB

This might sound strange but tick the top country only (left side). (It's Austria in mine).
Select the appropriate 'Method' in the center column (I used 'air mail').
On the right (next to the method you chose) fill in the $15.00 (rest of world amount).
Then tick the 'copy' box next to it................. (the 'method' you chose will go grey) AND the
'COPY SELECTED TO' (bottom right) will now become active....

    Click on
'COPY SELECTED TO' and select from the list 'WORLD WIDE'
Now the 'COPY TO' button will become active...
    Click on
    COPY TO'.

Now you will notice the entire left side (all countries) are ticked.
You have effectively allocated every country to $15.00 shipping....... but don't close this off yet....... the tricky part follows.........

.... still keeping the selections just mentioned you now:

Click on 'Canada' on the left side to 'de-select' it (the 'tick' dissapears)......
NOW re-select 'Canada' again (the tick reappears)
(even though everything looks the same as before, you HAVE now primed Ninja to apply the very next data against 'Canada' only).
So, enter the 'method' you wish to use for Canada.....
Enter the $10.00 charge for Canada on the right........ and tick it.

Now click 'OK' (bottom left) ..... and all is done!!!!
In the small white window underneath 'International' shipping you should see the coding....
(You might have to scroll to see the full length of it).

    I got this:

    07=10.00,ca:07=15.00,au,at,be,ie,de,es,fr,uk,us,it,nl,nz,sg,in ,za,pt,se,dk,no,hk,eu,as,na,sa,af,oc

    Check, check.

    I got:

    06=35.00,au,at,be,ie,de,es,fr,uk,us,it,nl,nz,sg,in ,za,pt,se,dk,no,hk,eu,as,na,sa,af,oc:02=0.00,at,be ,ie,de,es,fr,it,nl,nz,sg,in,za,pt,se,dk,no,hk,eu,a s,na,sa,oc:06=25.00,ca

See that "02=0.00" in the middle? That's for "NOT KNOWN (02)" which I have UNTICKED....but it keeps coming up on the final result.
Anyway..this is something to work from. For the additional item discount portion, I think we have to download and upload anyway.

    Thanks for the help!
