Can I shorten the name I have to put on my business cards.

Sometimes when I type this in it brings up the ebid page and not my store.

I want to put this on business cards advertising my store an ebid.

Only by changing the shop name. If you choose something shorter, that will be used as the address.

Sometimes when I type this in it brings up the ebid page and not my store.

That should only be happening when you make a mistake typing!

Only by going to the About Me page, not the store. In which case the format is http://uk.ebid.net/users/bykimbo

Just go into the same screen you used to create the shop and change the name there, it will update the address to match automatically. So that's "my ebid stores" on "my ebid" page.
