Smile I think i want to join you ! and get away from the beast

Hi all have just been told about ebid and seen top ten review figures well done you lot finally someone /thing giving them a run for their money. Is there realy a way away from the beast ? could i ask please how can I see that sellers are selling ? ie completed listings /sold and it seems as if nothing has bids on ! does bidding show ?
as said I am looking to leave the dragon and any help info would be greatly recieved im searching site and at mo and listing looks quite complicated is it ? im sure i will give this a go and what is exiting if ebid can really end up challenging the money grabbing site. I have started selling proffesionally and have loads of buddies who are looking for a way out also there are so many totally dissapointed ebay sellers fed up with the lack of support and the crazy rules and feedback

    • I find that listing books is quicker on Ebid than it is on Ebay.
    • One of the bonuses is that Ebid's database of ISBN numbers is better than Ebay
    • I can put multiple pictures of my books on the auction on Ebid, so buyers have more confidence in buying the book
    • Another is that the lower fees on Ebid allow me to undercut Ebay and Amazon on price and P&P, so on Google Search I usually come up as competitive.

    Welcome to ebid.
Ebid is a very seller friendly site with no favoured options (power sellers etc)
I find it very easy to list, and I am sure you will once you make a few listings etc.
It is just different to what you are used to.

Ebid is not as well known as ebay of course, so you cannot expect great sales right away.
It took you a while to find ebid, so do buyers.
But ebid sends your BIn listings to GPS.
Some people do very well, others not so well.
    But ebid is growing steadily.
And imho provides the best opposition to ebay who have got to be too greedy and oppressive for small sellers.

And check out ebid's Buddy points if you get your friends to sign up!

Kim, I am new to ebid and find it a great site - but slow for selling so far. For me, I decided to buy into the future prospects so went straight for seller+ lifetime. I can see others are selling, but so far nothing for me (couple of weeks) but our products are quite low volume anyway.

We do get regular sales on that other site, so I am optimistic that we can get some here. Time will tell

IMHO it is worth a go - what is the worst that can happen?

Agree 110% with the points made above. IMHO joining as a seller+ is the best deal as you get free lifetime listings/relistings (with 2% FVF if you use gallery pix), 5 free stores and the ability to make your own rules regarding payment options, shipping, etc.. Really the best deal going on the Net, plus the support here is great and the members are friendly and super supportive.

Welcome to eBid, you made a great choice, hope your friends do, too.

Bill, love the new avatar, I had no idea you were such a celebrity.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
