I'm sorry but Penny Auction sites do not hold a gambling license therefore cannot and should not be considered gambling. Although Penny Auctions (basically a raffle) produce massive revenue per item. Basically a scam type operation, however if you think about it and happen to be the one who placed 3 penny bids on an item and won well that's a tremendous deal. Then you really don't care how much the seller or site made. You got your deal...done!

Penny auction links still entice the online buyer/browser and do not belong advertised on a site where your sellers are busting their a** to build success.

When I enter my "My eBid summary page I scroll to the bottom and see ads from quibids.com ---www.bidcactus.com ---www.for10cents.com These show up on the following pages..eBid forums home, new posts and when you open a thread. Off to the left in the forum pages you will see several links to auction sites. I noticed tonight it has been reduced to 1 ad by APMEX shopnow
I clicked on a "new auction" viewed it went to the bottom of the page and yep, same ads.

Pretty sure I read several times...."sponsored by Google"

Anybody want to talk about setting up a raffle type auction? Instead of calling it a penny auction we can accept say 50 @ $.50 entries for an item we want to sell for $20.00 with a $5.00 shipping cost. Someone wins the item for as low as $.50 and the seller gets what they wanted for the item. Now if you up the amount of entries or increase the entry to $1.00, well maybe a bit...I can't think of the proper term right now but more importantly the interest it may spark. Anyway just a thought.
