Post goes up next week. I have several LL stamps; just wondered how long these would be valid and if it would be necessary to add the extra?

I believe it is normal that as long as the stamp does not have a face price then it remains valid for the service stated (e.g. 1st, 2nd, LL, etc.)
If you mean a Large Letter Stamp (first or second class) they will always be valid no matter how much the Large Letter Rate increases.
Still not typing quick enough

Colour does not matter. If it says 1st, then it works for first and has the value of a current 1st class stamp if you use it to make up a higher value.
Any stamp that is decimal can be used.

I don't think I made my question very clear..
I know you can still use them, but would you have to ADD another stamp to make up the new value?
Unless it states the value in pence (51p or 66p) you don't have to add anything else
Sooooooo, if I head down to the Post Office on Monday and buy lots of LL stamps........
Oh, I really shouldn't.
nothing to stop you except maybe lack of cash
