I don’t know if it’s just me but with all the natural disasters we are having around the world and the fact that they seem to be happening far more often (how many "once in a Millennium" events have there been in the last few years) I often wonder if the Maya's did know something after all

Hopefully the sight of this devastation will make people all over the world think twice about the use of nuclear weapons.
I pray the problems with the nuclear power stations also make Britain think twice about having sold some of our Nuclear plants to a French company that has permission to build new reactors of a type that have never been tested. The said company is now in financial crisis and two of the plants they have bult, one in France and one in Finland, do not work properly!!!
Two of the sites they are building on are at sea level where there is historic evidence of a tsunami type flood on the coast of the Bristol channel. This was in 1607... if it happened then it could happen again.
