Post Problem with damage item in auction

    Hi
I've got a problem with an item that has been damaged beyond repair by my new puppy
But I've just discovered when I went to delete the item that there is a bid on it
So now I can't delete the item and can't contact the buyer

What can I do, I can't sell the item now

    Any ideas
    Rod

Oh, dear! I've had the same problem (only I dropped the item!). I think you can add to the description? You could also try sending a pm (on the forum) to the bidder. They MIGHT get it.

oh, another thought - you could blackball the buyer, close the listing and then un-blackball them

How do you blackball a buyer? seems a bit extreme!!

I have seen a help item that talks of removing a sellers bit, how?

    Have added to the description
ALso because I have sold to this buyer in the past, I found that I have access to his email by checking my selling history
So I sent him a "Send to Friend" message, but that still leaves the problem of removing the bid

    Cheers
