Maybe looking at it from the opposite direction may help, as it is just like selling and thinking about what your customer does and does not want?
What do you know for sure about your "friends" on facebook?
Maybe we need more understanding of who we will be selling to.
Does it just have to be facebook, or could those that prefer to tweet not make use of their friends in the same way?
Also directing buyers into the site direct brings up another question.
Can we be sure we have enough holes filled in the listings to keep them happy and keep them coming back? Which takes us back to paragraph 2
Sounds like a good idea. Everything "blackcurrant and lime?"
I think pos\ting invoice on facebook is a great idea! It would be good if eBid offered listing or seller+ discounts that we could promote to correspond with the event!

Pick a date and run time. The event can be the First annual Friends of eBid 25% off sale.
You are all involved to view millions of auction listings from sellers around the globe.
For this event only sellers will offer a 25% discount off the final sale price during this event only.
Don't miss out, there are no fees or commitments to join, look bid and buy.
Stop on by have a look and see what kind of deals you can pick up during this event.
Embellishment by forum users needed please.
How are we going to differentiate between sellers offering 25%, and those that arent?
Couldnt advertise it as a 25% off sale from millions of items, unless all sellers were doing it.
My guess is that only a very small percentage of sellers will know about it - too many dont log in often enough.
Where do I find a good image of the Ebid logo?
I got my paws on some good movie software last night - something I wanna try.
Will run the first 10 or 15 seconds of it past folks soonest - then get hopefully get some input and suggestions
