Thread: Bidding war?

  1. #1

    Default Bidding war?

I don't normally look at bidding history as I just send an invoice after an auction has ended.

I just presumed that the winner was a sole bidder, but just looked at a closed sold item I had yesterday and it had 2 bidders.

Question is do you look to see if you have had a bidding war or just presume that it was a solitary bid. I am only on about single quantity auctions and not buy nows

When I started out I had auctions with no BIN and watched them like a hawk.
Then I took advice & added BIN.
I have just recently listed an auction only item with no BIN so I shall resume the hawk-like position again just to see if anything happens! Yes, if it sells I shall want to see how many bids and by whom. I'm nosey like that.

I do look at bids, but not to see If it had multiple bidders but to see If same person is bidding to jack up bider no to discorage. outhers from bidding. I have not seen this here yet but have seen it on ebay. Some of the auto bids are capable of doing this not shure how, but they do Its call steel a deel and if Catch someone using it I refuse sales and ban buyer.
