    Default New Ruff Luck Puppy

As some of you know already, Ruff Luck were to visit us this evening with a puppy for us to see. The puppy was thrown out at 5.5 WEEKS old!

He has had a play with Rosie, the mop has been out, he's had some puppy food and is now curled up in our old cat basket on a lovely soft blanket cuddling up to a chewed up soft toy belonging to Rosie. We have been looking for a companion for Rose since we lost Midge. She has been very lonely. So as you can see, we didn't need much persuading

Little white tip on his tail, light eyes and all the black, tan and white markings of a lovely collie. So cute. We can't take him out yet because he has to have his jabs against parvo, etc.

I have also given Ruff Luck the latest cheque which has saved me going tomorrw to the Building Society, plus donation for 'Tim', and means I can have all day with our new charge. We didn't need much persuading did we.

Just thought you would like to know that it is yet another success story for Ruff Luck.

We are calling him Tim after the Walter de la Mare poem I so love called Tom's Little Dog.

aaaww.....what a lovely bit of news.

I know that losing a dog can leave the dog left behind very lonely.

We always had dogs about when I was still living with my parents and I dream of owning a large enough place to give a home to unloved dogs.......I wish you all well

    A lovely story............but where is Tim's picture?

Tim and Rosie must have hit it off together straight away. How brilliant is that !

Awwww, that is too sweet! There's nothing like a sweet puppy or kitty to lift the spirits - four strays (3 cats and 1 doggy) and counting here.

Do post a pic, I'd love to see the little dickens.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Linda - you messed up somewhere. The new puppy should be Jim - as in the childrens characters 'Rosie & Jim' - the 2 raggy dolls on a canal boat.

I'm glad that the little visitor settled in and that Rosie took to him. It would have been really heartbreaking if she rejected him as a troublemaker. Mind you, she's probably thinking 'I can get into all sorts of mischief and Tim will get the blame'.

    Good luck with him

Promise I'll put a pic on tomorrow. I will try and find the Dog Pic Thread. I can't disturb the little star tonight he is now asleep. Hope he doesn't keep me up all night.

Thank you for your lovely replies, I'm more pleased for Rose than for us (believe that if you want to!)
