First aired in 2000, My Hero saw popular Irish stand-up Ardal O'Hanlon make the transition from simpleton priest Dougal in Father Ted, to simpleton superhero Thermoman - an alien from the planet Ultron.

At the beginning of Series One, Thermoman/George falls in love with Nurse Janet Dawkins after he saves her life while she is on holiday in America. After George tracks her down Janet falls for him too, despite some initial reservations about the whole Superhero, secret identity thing.
The show's six series see the couple marry and have babies Ollie and Cassie - super-babies who can speak from birth and have full sets of teeth, thanks to some rather unconvincing special effects.

I have no idea about any "history" involving Craig and nor do I want to know - it is none of my business. However, I agree that what has been happening to Craig as a result of comments from a number of people (and it isn't usually hypno) is not pleasant. Perhaps those who feel they have an issue with him should stop reading his posts? What he has said here is no different from a recent thread praising the service at a bricks and mortar store which was also nothing to do with eBid - but as has been said they were not "shot down in flames" for the posting.

I think hypno's apology is beautifully put and I was surprised to see what he had said as I have always found him to be luvverly! We all have our bad days!

It concerns me that newcomers to the site read such unpleasantness here when we are trying to present the forum as a friendly and helpful place to visit (which it usually is!) As someone pointed out recently our comments here are available on the web for anyone in the world to see should they so wish - which should give us all pause for thought.
