Good morning! It's not nice outside - cold and wet. I think that's almost an incentive to list more. got some re-lists to do too. Coffee is done and I think for me it'll be a hot chocolate with the toast. If you ask me nicely, I might just share the chocolate.
I started making a few cards yesterday, and I can't believe how much stuff I have accumulated. Enough to make cards for the next 20 years!.
So I'll be around today, trying not to get under our painter's feet

Morning troops. Thanks for the good wishes Private Meebo a hot chocolate would be lovely as long as it has the special ingedient in ! The rain has past at the Cornish outpost and there is a glimmer of sun on the boats in the harbour.

The only thing I don't enjoy about being down here is the old soldier's computer it is soooooo slowwwww. I shall have to bring him into the present when he moves in with us !

You probably did, foxy. Now it is Sunday and I have a sore throat. I did ask OH not to share his cold with me, but it seems he didn't listen. Must have a look if I can find some TCP to gargle with. But that will come after breakfast. So a nice pot of coffee and toast, I think. Maybe I can get a relist done before breakfast, but only maybe

Morning - I'd love some hot chocolate if you're serving churros with it:

A few relists to sort out, then back to holiday planning for August

Morning troops. The sun is shining on the boats again in the harbour and I've just made arrangements to recruit some old school friends over a pint of Spingo in the Blue Anchor this evening so all is well with the world !

The clearing out here is going soooo slowly though. The old soldier can't just throw something in the bin he has to read it all and then goes off on a tangent about some related story about said piece of paper, it's driving me potty !!! I think I will have to come down for a couple of weeks by myself during the coming months to make any headway.

This reminds me of a story told to us by the son of a friend of Mil: when the friend and his wife bought a cottage in the country he was told to sort out his books (and he had loads) prior to moving. He ended up with 2 piles, one of which contained 3 books. When being praised at being so ruthless his comment was: well, I didn't know I already had those when I bought them, so they can go (pointing at the 3 books)
