Thread: google checkout

    Exclamation google checkout

Hi everyone, I am a new seller here and I am trying to set up google checkout. Each time I tried it says 'request entity too large'. So, I googled that and it seems thousands of people are having this problem with no response from google.
Has anyone on this site had this problem and if so, is there any way to solve it? I would imagine this checkout would be pretty important on this site considering google is where alot of sales seem to come from, or am I wrong?
I would love some advice from all you experts out there

Thanks for your help. I tried it but after the first page when I click on agree to terms and complete sign up, that is when it says 413 request entity too large. Wierd, thanks though.

I have Google; but heard their fees are higher than Paypal. Use them infrequently; but they are available for the folk who choose not to use Paypal. Also offer Moneybookers (do not like their new name) but the service is cool.

Just to qualify: the same as PayPal standard fees but, of course, micropayments on PayPal is cheaper than both. I know *you* knew that, but...

Yes indeed. Excluding micropayment option offered by Paypal.

That's good (maybe :-) ! It's interesting that the fees are the same. Google used to be less than PP. Do they give any explanation for the increase? Also interesting that they don't seem to get slammed for it like PP.
