Yes she is doing better now; she is resting peacefully (in glory). After my mother's release from the hospital, I became her care giver in her home because she did not want to be in a nursing home. In order for me to do that I continued to liquidate things because bills don't wait; my resource melt down lasted 2 years. My mother had her own resources. Considered it a priviledge to take care of my mom in the comfort of her own home. Some things have no price tag.

Wow, I am so, so sorry, but as she is with God now, at least you have that consolation. As a long term care nurse in years past, I was always saddened and admittedly a little bit angered, too, at the number of folks who didn't feel it worth their while to even pay the occasional visit to loved ones. I agree with you and would never ever put a loved one in a facility, no way, no how, no, no, no!
