Could you modify our options in the selective notices?

The new feature to let us put up notices specific to one store/category is wonderful, but there's a problem for those of us who have a large variety of items listed.

If a store category has subcategories, I have to create a separate notice for each subcategory. If I select the category alone, the notice isn't displayed. It's going to require hundreds of separate notices for me to take advantage of this as it is currently working because almost all our categories have subcategories.

I want to clarify this request. I have tried to put up a notice in one category in one of our stores. It doesn't show up because the category has subcategories. I CAN put up a notice for a category that does NOT have subcategories. I CAN put up a notice for a specific subcategory. It appears the existence of the subcategories prevent it from being displayed for a category.

Since there is a limit to the number of notices we can have, and there's no option to select multiple subcategories for a notice (other than "All"), I don't have the option of putting the notice in for each subcategory.

This looks like an oversight, that perhaps could be fixed easily. If so, it would be much appreciated, and make the option for targeted notices much more useful.
