    I just signed up for eBid yesterday and thought I would show willing by signing up to PPPay but where Paypal deposit a few pence into your bank account when verifying you PPPay just take some money out without stating if you get it back - bit rude I thought

    @SauberSolarService

    Welcome to ebid, sorry about your experience with PPPay. (nobody seems to be rapt with it)
    Hope it does not put you off ebid which we all like.

    Welcome to ebid, which I heartily recommend. Wish I could say the same about pppay - I suggest you read the forums on the subject and form your own opinion.

    It does state that a 'small' verification fee will be debited - though PPPay's idea of small and mine seem to differ. No, you don't get it back.

    I had an account with pppppppay.com oops to many pppppppppppp,s it is rubbish and expensive to transfer money and the penny check as they call it cost me £1.09p taken from my account ! other companys put money in your account when they do a check.
    So ive closed my account and use paypal and google.

    If you pay other people with PPPay, such as buying on Ebid, then you do not need to withdraw the money you earn on PPPay.

    Thats exactly how I use my PPPay Account

    I was unable to validate my account as PPPay refused to accept my debit card (same one as acceptable to Moneybookers,and PayPal).

    So I just use it like a wallet.

    And every time your bank issues you with a replacement card at card renewal (even if it has the same card number) you have to re-verify and get hit for that "penny" check again.

    I would not recommend this to anyone. Had nothing but hassle since buyer used it to pay me.
