Been onto housing, seems there are a few having boiler breakdowns due to weather. Recorded message states there is a delay of 5 working days, but they aim to get an electrician out within 48hrs, I"ve been asked if I"m going to be in, within next 24hrs.
As for overflow pipe, yes water comes out of it but only when I open the inlet valve to fill the boiler up.

I suppose if one reports enough faults with a propertly, one may assume they will get another property quicker.
If it is a Combi boiler and water comes out only when you fill the system up then it must be full already, or the pressure release valve is faulty, Still not answered as , Is this a combi boiler. what is the pressure now. ?Originally Posted by craig7501

Not sure what type of boiler it is. When I left the boiler was reading 2bar, I know the boiler is empty as it starts making a banging noise when the dial drops to 0bar. Still waiting for electrician/plumber to come out and deal with it.
