ebid program at local computer club

I am starting to plan a program on ebid at our local computer club meeting most likely sometime in the spring , more attendance at that time.
I did this about ebay somewhere around 10 years ago, had help from a local power seller and it went off very nicely.
I timed an auction to end precisely at 8pm, which was the middle of our meeting, as I stated went off without a hitch.
Planning on doing this about ebid, and it will be advertised in our local newspaper since our club president is now the paper's web editor..

I heard of one person who went into a computer store and changed the home page on a couple of new laptops to her favorite auction site.

(Good free advertising !)

But I don't know if that's possible to do.

Juliebabe, I think thats kind of out of line, if the computers weren't her's she had no business doing that...
besides I tried it and it wouldn't work, store had computers in a lock up mode...LOL.....(just kidding of course)
