Heidi and the kids will be soo jealous.

They spend yesterday lying about with a beardie each sleeping happily on them. They are going to spend some of their Xmas money on the glass climbing ghekos.. not neons, too dear for them yet. They only have the one snake - a tiny corn-thingie.. but would love more.

What a superb example. I used to keep small snakes and reptiles years ago. Nothing as big or exotic as Beano.

Bohemian, Beano will only get to about 5 ft in length and the width of largest part of a lower arm, so no harm there lol. I dont do Burmese or Boa's.
CarnoustieCats just to let you know Geckos are Nocturnal. And make sure you have the right set up they prefer Wooden vivariums, you need a basking lamp a heat mat same end as lamp (for winter use at night only) and you need UV & starter for the UV, let me know if you need help with anything.

.. will do but they have everything you mention - wooden whatsit, red light, striplight on timer, heating pads the lot... they appear at the front when they are awake and want out!!! - then crawl over the kids hands and uptheir front and settle for a while quite happily.. maybe they are as daft as the rest of the family...
