U.S. sales

I have been a member for almost 2 months now with 1 sale. I see for the most part it seems to have alot of members from the UK, which is fine with me, everyone is very nice here but I was wondering how the sales are in the U.S. with other members.

I am in Phoenix, AZ. i have been a member for a little over a month and I have sold 5 items here. I am in the process of emailing all my customers from feebay to come here as well as emailing all the people I have bought from to come over to sell. I love it here and am doing all I can to help bring buyers and sellers over here.

I have + feedback of 112 and all of it is from here so things do sell.

The sales are far enough apart that I still get excited when I sell something!

The fact that the sales are all profit since I made my seller + costs back almost immediately keep me listing here. My items are just household clear outs so mostly one of a kind and I need to list more as I do more cleaning after the first of the year. My experience is the more you have listed the more likely something will get someones interest and then they may look around at the other things and do some buying.

I really like it here also and I want it to work out. I know it will take time and I need to be patient. You know how it is, you list things and you want them to sell over night,LOL!

Most of our sales have been to U.S. buyers. For the past three months, the vast majority were new members (zero feedback), so it appears they joined specifically to buy something from us.

All of my feedback is from my sales on ebid. I would have more if everyone would leave feedback but, alas, they do not! This is an awesome sight! I love it here! Made my seller + fees back in a couple of months. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

My sales have steadily picked up over the last 2 months. Most buyers do not leave feedback, but all my feedback is from ebid. I feel the site will go as we get more variety on here. Yes, it is a U.K. company, but sales have been increasing in the U.S. Did you get a copy of the last ebid newsletter? On Cyber Monday, sales were up 62.9% in UK, and 145.8%, yes 145.8% in US from 2009. So U.S. buyers are finding us.

Let you old buyers know where you have landed. If you have a facebook account, 'share' one of your ebid listings every other day or so. I list my items on Craig's List with a link to my ebid store....that has brought me several sales.

Don't give up.....sales will come.

I made quite a few sales this December, the last one being on 24th and I'm happy with my successes so far. Things are definitely looking up on eBid.
