It is -6 at the moment in the garden in North Warwickshire. I'm really worried we will not be able to get to the Lakes on Wednesday which will be really disappointing as I have been looking forward to it for months. We are supposed to be staying until into the New Year. Still, a lot can happen between now and Wednesday and I will live in hope.

-6 at 4pm when OH came back from work. My conservatory is -2.7 at the moment.
About an inch of snow this morning, which seems to have made the local roads almost impassible. I can see the main A-road from the house and since 11 am traffic has been going at 15 - 20 mph, the road into the town centre is even slower.

Slept in this morning, to wake to a light layering of snow and -4 degrees - but the roads are clear of snow.

It's warm and sunny now - British weather.....Well when I say warm I mean -4 degrees, but the sun is out and shining in the blue skies.

It's been snowing non stop since about 10 o'clock.

We had white out conditions again this afternoon , though not for long , snow is bringing loads of guttering down off houses! Bittterly cold! Snow forecast tonight again and tomorrow! Luckily my son who was stranded 36 miles away last night got home this morning!

It has been a beautiful blue sky day here today. But it has made no impact on the six inches of snow. Going to be dreadful when this lot freezes
