How do I know my item is being watched?

Silly question here but, how do I know my item is being watched by anyone as you can do on ebay? Really appreciate any help.

I've always believed there are too many reasons why people watch items that have nothing to do with them wanting to buy, but it's a tricky one to quantify. Hmm... I feel a poll coming on, we haven't had one of those for a while.
