It is more cost efficient to be able to buy multiple items to save on the shipping. Even if I am looking for a "specialty" item it is also nice to be able to , now these are just off the top of my head examples, also buy a book or a bookmark, bottle of lotion, a trinket, etc. Not to mention if I am looking for gifts and can buy several in one stop, I have also saved time as well as money!
I have to say I am very much like this. I am initially a visual shopper but once I do buy I will always look at what other goods the seller has, frequently purchase several things from a seller . If I am pleased with buying experience I always save the seller to my favourites and keep a check if they have new goods for sale. I like the pleasant sellers like Babs above said , its nice to have good communication about payment , postage , etc. The convenience thing probably isn't so important to me, I'll check on other side too and if price is better I will (I'm sorry) buy from there. If prices are similar I'd always choose the ebid option as I really want this site to keep growing. The buddy points have never entered my mind tbh.

I enjoy watching my buddy points grow and I would love to spend them someday. I think this is a unique quality to ebid and reminds me of the old fashion way sellers used to always give their customers a small gift with brand name on it. A lot of those items bring high prices now as they seem to be a thing of the past. Ebid rocks!!!

I have been known to by from frustrated new sellers to help out, usually something that I wanted and not necessarily needed. The closing auctions have lured me on numerous occasions to look at a sellers items and I end up buying more than one thing to save on postage (that's funny, I know) Site loyalty for sure

It looks like we need to study up on buddy points a bit more.

Good question. Things that make me buy on eBid:

    1) Unique items I can't find elsewhere, (this has always been my main motivating force - the unique, the unusual, the special).
    2) Fair prices.
    3) Trusted sellers - like a lot of other members, if I find a reliable seller with unique items I will return again and again...
    4) Agoraphobia (just kidding!) Seriously, though, I don't like crowds or crowded public places and prefer to shop online to avoid the hassles of the holiday (or anytime) mall scene.

Best wishes for many sales to all,
