    Default Managing ebid Stores

    Hi all,

I paid for full membership as a personal seller. I also want to start selling goods as a business, for which multiple stores would be very good. With the stores you can setup on Seller+, if I sell goods on ebid stores as a trader, can I setup a seperate email address for these stores, or would I need to setup a seperate ebid account for my trading goods?

Can I allocate more than one email address through one account, one for personal and one for biz.

Anyone else selling both ways, and how are you doing it?

    cheers, Sagar

In theory you cannot have more than one account with ebid. In practice a few do manage it, but you have to supply ebid with a good reason and they are red hot on watching for anything that could be construed as shill-bidding, which can cause problems when you make an innocent mistake! Better to get by with one account with separate shops. I'm not sure what aspect of using an email address you are talking about - do you mean for notices? You could perhaps put a short code in your item titles somewhere that your email system could filter for you? If you mean paypal account addresses, at present you can only have one, but multiples are on the "to do" list. If it's neither of those, I'm not sure what you're getting at, so perhaps you could rephrase it? Hope that's some help anyway!

So you want personal sales to go to a personal email, and business sales to a business email?
A good reason for doing that might be to separate personal and business income.

I believe that in law, a business is a different identity to a person, so it might be legitimate for your business to have a different Ebid account to you as a person.
