ISBN product info on edit listing

Updating some of my listings - I went into a book listing in edit mode and changed various bits of information, including putting the ISBN into the new barcode box.

Accepted the changes and nothing appeared to be done with the code - I wasn't prompted with the information as I expected. So I clicked on the "view auction" link to see what it had done and when looking at the live listing I *then* got the product info panel with "we would appreciate etc" prompting me to update the info, which I did, and confirm the stock photo, which I did.

I don't know if that's how you meant it to work, but if I hadn't clicked to view the listing I would not have seen the prompt to update the stock info.

Jing of it happening on another book. I'd have been sooner, but Jing kept falling over. Sigh. Note on this one the stock photo's wrong too, but this was not the case on the others that did this so that's not a clue.

Just like Kimbo said - it's clunky to get to the "update product info" screen.

Also, I did not know that the 13-digit ISBN was UNDER the barcode. And I even worked in a library for several years.

The barcode field on our listings will only accept the 13 digit ISBN. Take the time to enter it, fellow booksellers, as it really helps with Google Shopping searches...

Sussed it.

When you enter a code of sufficient length into the Barcode box an extra button appears (with no indication) captioned Add Item Specifics and Preview at the bottom of the listing page.

Seems a daft place to put it to me - and totally unintuitive.
