No, replace does not work here. Happy to backtrack on my previous assertion that it would after having had a play with it. The addition is not held as part of the description so you cannot edit it out. It seems to be using the same routine as is used when editing a single listing with bids, so changes would not be allowed - only additions. It appears as part of the description block as it is added to it as the listing display page is created - but is clearly held separately with no means of getting rid of it.

That makes it seem unsuitable for the purposes the OP is using it for. If you want a piece of text that you can update via Bulk Edit then include a piece of dummy text in the original listing - then you can use Replace to modify it.

I have used bulk edit several times to remove chunks of text from multiple listings. As I said, it can be fiddly to find the right "chunks" to remove, and can take several passes. I showed this on one listing, but what applies to one applies to many - the number of records in the bucket makes no difference. However, if I'm somehow the only person who can get this to work I'll just have to add that to my repertoire of magic tricks and move on. Sorry it doesn't work for you guys.

Edited to add a sudden thought: I think you all might have not picked up on something I've said a squillion (okay, slight exaggeration ;o)) times about bulk edit, but notice I haven't mentioned this time: you have to use the HTML not just the text. I always use ctrl/U to view the source and copy from that.

Now I really am done - hope that helps, but sorry if it don't!

Tried all suggestions made - having to resort to individual listing edits as the older 'added by seller' strap-lines still remain there, making the listing description look very untidy. Can I suggest that the problem would be resolved if the 'added by seller' strap-line was taken off completely as I don't see it has any other function than cluttering your listings with un-needed text?
