I was just trying to sell an item on ebid, when all of the sudden I'm greeted by an advertisement sending me to WebStore.com
For me as a seller this is not a problem, but I would prefer if my buyers didn't get redirected to another website claiming to be the best ebay alternative.

Just thought I would point this out.

I, too, have seen this one as well as a few others I can't remember off the top of my rapidly aging head and agree with you that it would be in the best interests of eBid not to permit such advertising on eBid space.

Of course that's assuming eBid has control over each and every advert plugged on-site.

I seem to recall Gazza posting that if an inappropriate (e.g. a competitor site) advert was seen then to let admin know and they would block it from being displayed.

I am not even going to attempt to find the post with the forum search engine though.
