    Default Sorting/categorizing default listings

I was just going through my default listings and thought how much easier it would be to sort through defaults if, in addition to being sorted by title, default items could be sorted/categorized by item category or possibly by seller's store, rather than just lumping all defaults together by auction title.

    Just my 2 cents.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Just stick a store or category short code at the start of your default title, such as:

    books-hardbacks
    books-paperbacks
    china-modern
    china-vintage
    etc

Do you mean like, add the keyword to your Item's Title? But what if (like my Allsorts store) I have lots of different items? I would also welcome a drop down Sort of "By Store" so that I can view everything under that hood within a particular shop

No, not your item's title - nothing to do with the *content* of the default set, add it to your set name. It works perfectly and does exactly what you want, trust me. If you have a store called "cards" put "cards" as the first part of the SET NAME.

Sorry to be a pain Kimbo (
Okay, I have a store titled "BlossomTree Allsorts" but nothing returned on the search when typed in under Auctions running.
I think I might be a bit stupid as I don't know what you mean by the Set Name? If you could define that for me, the penny might drop (!) I don't see anywhere that uses the term.
I know, I'm sorry! Pull on a stretchy doll - works for me! lol

I think you might have mistaken the entire subject of the conversation. We're talking about default sets. That's the pre-listing default values used for creating new listings, that are held in My eBid > My Defaults.

Ah yes I see now! I was trying to search for Posts on Sorting by Store under Auctions Running before stumbling here (not the default/template thingies), though this will come in very handy in the future! Many thanks
