Thread: reserve option

  1. #1

    Default reserve option

i should/could have made my first sale here today, but because of the reserve option i had in my listing the item was not sold = reserve not met.

do you think using the reserve option will get more sales, i don't think so.

can i bulk edit all my listings to take the reserve option off or do i have to go to each listing?

Most forums members, when they've expressed a view, have said they don't like reserves. I don't like reserves, I prefer a realistic start price.

You can select your items in bulk edit and choose a 0.00 reserve, but I can't swear that will change them all - since I don't any reserves to start with my test was necessarily limited. ;o) However, bear in mind that you might want to do them individually anyway, so you can bump the start price up to something more realistic?

    A reserve price?

    No such thing!
start your auction at your lowest acceptable bid!
    That's it! . . . .

have to agree with pink.... if there were a lot of bidding wars here then maybe but as it's usually a 1 bid wins I cant see the point of a reserve... just price at the lowest you will accept

No. Just put a tick in the No Reserve? box under the entry field.
