I expect even the Captain will let you "stand easy" on your anniversary - for part of the day at least! Did you have a lovely lunch?

Happy anniversary, Kpte. Meebo. Hope you enjoyed your lunch and that you're being spoiled rotten. 40 years is a long time - any idea when you're up for parole?

Don't worry, Pte. Mcc2, in a couple of months it'll all seem like just a bad dream.

Now, I hope the rest of you are happy with your quarters - there's been quite enough upheaval, thank-you very much.

I'd like to apologise for the weather. I've got my last load of stock in for the year (some nice amber pieces) and need nice, clear, sunny days to take photographs. Is there a tick box to add heavy cloud to my orders that I'm overlooking?

Well, we never got any lunch. After the cooked breakfast we were both sitting in an armchair (we had done SOME work) looked at the rain and said we didn't want to go out. Later in the afternoon we did a but of shopping and came back with a curry. Opened a bottle of sparkling wine to help it all go down easier. I now feel that I must look like Bernhard, the happy mouse who sits by the PC. No listing for me tonight - I hate to think what I would write

Now Captain Jewels ma'am you have to be positive and turn this
    into this !

Private Meebo it looks like it's been curry all round today. I've just been out celebrating Diwali with some neighbours. It's a good job we are not sharing quarters or Captain Jewels might need her gas mask in the morning !

Good morning! I bet your curry was much nicer than my boxed one heated in the microwave from the supermarket. But the Bucks Fizz helped!
I am pleased to say I have no hangover, so am quite ready for my canteen duties. I really must do a bit of sewing. So listing will have to take a 'back seat' today.
with that, I shall depart to the lower floor and consider what should grace the breakfast table Apart from tea and coffee, that is

I think I need a drink - son has just unloaded the first truck load of boxes from the loft. You'll never guess what the content of most of them are

    wait for it

    WOOL!
So watch my plug thread, as I must list at least some of it. (last count 15 boxes)
