I had posted this under the 'stoning' thread but it mean't that people were signing the original petition (which WORKED)

Today, Iran could execute Sakineh Ashtiani.

Our global outcry stopped her unjust stoning sentence in July. Now we have 24 hours to save her life.

According to the BBC website, the execution hasn't taken place - but that was last updated at 2p.m. So let's keep our fingers crossed and keep up the pressure. Good work everyone :-)
