    Default Not happy with bulk edit.

    I tried to bulk edit the price on a lot of my book listings.

    When I had selected my auctions I was unable (well sort off) to change the price;
    because I could not choose a price eg £1.80 to change to say £1.70.

    as I had among my selections different prices. .... I only wanted to change one price range and have the others return as no change possible.

    Is it possible to tweak this so that I can edit one set price to another set price?

    What you're trying to do is not a bulk edit function, so you're using the wrong tool. You want to make a lot of individual changes, not the same thing. Export your listings and use Excel or Ninja lister, or as bluebedouin says, a text editor if you're comfortable with that.

    I disagree! I want to bulk edit a load of listings from one price to another.

    In the example you give in your tutorial on bulk editing description : you changed 'apple' to 'pear'

    So my question is . Why can't I change Prices from £1.80 to £1.50.

    Any auctions selected that did not have the price as £1.80 would then be returned as no change possible.

    If this function is not availabe; WHY NOT? It would save a lot of messing about.

    Anyway I don't know how to do this export stuff - it's all greek/geek to me

    So does that mean it's possible that the boys can add/tweak this function fairly easily?

    Will they pick up this suggestion or should I send em an email?

    I know a lot of people who've never seen a line of code of the ebid site profess to know exactly how it works, and how much work is involved in any change... I ain't one of them.

    This is in the suggestions forum, so if I were you I'd leave it at that for a while. You can always bump down the road if you think it's been missed.
