Thread: Question about upgrading and cancelling subscriptions

  1. #1

Default Question about upgrading and cancelling subscriptions

Hey, I am very new to all this.

My question is this: What happens if you upgrade to Seller+ for a short time, say the £1.99 7 day subscription, put an item on with the various Seller+ benefits like having 5 photos, indefinite listing, buy it now, and pay by Paypal, etc. What happens if you then cancel the subscription? Is the listing changed, deleted, does it stay as it is with the Seller+ features, or what?

Any help in this matter will be gladly received!

As far as I am aware they retain those Seller+ features as you have paid for them on those listings created while the Seller+ subscription was active.

    That's great, thank you!

I'm not quite ready to jump in at Lifetime or any extended subscriptions, you see, but I'm slightly dubious about PPPay, and I would imagine most buyers prefer Paypal anyway.

You can get the same features as a basic seller using the Platinum listing format - which is basically Seller+ (apart from stores) on a listing by listing basis (currently 5p per listing).

If you do go for the 7 day (or any) Seller+ subscription then any subs you pay will be discounted from the Seller+ Lifetime price should you decide to go for that later.

I would avoid PPPay - it causes more problems than it is worth. I cannot recommend it until the owners sort out the way it works.
