I am trying to put some more of my books into auction, but the link to your database where I can enter the ISBN number and get some pre-filled information is no longer coming up when I list. It did last week, but no longer.
Look for something called "Barcode" now. They just do it to confuse! :-)
Why would they do that? The barcode is totally different to the ISBN. If I am sourcing a book via a bibliography, I search for the ISBN. Most of the books I collect are OOP. Bookfinder searches via ISBN. Not a barcode.
A retrograde step.

Barcode has a different function, it is just a number to put on the listing, it doesn't access a database which can populate a listing with information.Originally Posted by bykimbo

When you put the ISBN in the barcode box, the rest of the options appear on the next screen, assuming you correctly click the "add item specifics and preview" button at the bottom. I've done a video for it, but I'm not sure if it's published yet.
Update: yes it's here: http://uk.ebid.net/htv_selling.php if you search for ISBN.
Yep, thanks that works, though I can't work out which video it would be.
Now to add more listings ...
To expand on other post where I confirmed its availability, it's called "how to use an ISBN when listing a book", I think.
