Default I can't access the Buy It Now option

I just signed up and starting listing items for sale. I cannot figure out how to use the Buy It Now button. I seem to only be able to list starting bid and reserve. I usually like to only sell as Buy It Now, so I'm getting frustrated.

    Please Help.

    hi
usually all you have to do is click on the fixed price box in section three of the listing page all the way to the right of that line and put in the price you want to sell it for. if that option is not available you should contact support to see whats up. good luck and welcome to ebid. let us know how you make out.

Have a look at the help pages where it explains what options come with which account types. As Meebo says, you're not seller plus, so you have to do things a bit differently to those of us who are. Take a look at Platinum type auctions. The details of what you can and can't do are all held on the help area (link top right here) and it's well worth familiarising yourself with the rules before you get stuck in.

Thanks for the help. I looked into the Seller Plus and it says that there is a listing fee of $1.99 for 7 days. Is that just for one item? Sorry, but I find it confusing.

no that is a recuring subscription.... every 7 days until you cancel.... or until you upgrade to lifetime, at which point all the subscription charges you have paid to date are taken off the lifetime price and you only pay the balance (ie 10 weeks at $1.99 = $19.90 (lifetime @ $74.99 - $19.90 = liftime will cost you $55.09))

No, that's for the membership - it's a recurring charge, so you pay a membership fee per "whatever" (week in this case) which repeats until you stop it. Your listing and FVF fees are then on top of that, but are reduced because of the type of membership. You have to balance out the one charge against the other reduction, based on how many items you expect to list.
