It is extemely upsetting! I, too, don't know what we can do to change it. But I am sure that the more people know about it the better chance we have to change it. Please feel free to copy and paste this and email to all your friends and enemies. Let people know what is going on!!!

Thats beacause they want all of us senion citizens to just go away. (Die perferably) Trouble is we are too old many of us to work and are watching our meger savings loose interest daily. So what do you do? And to think we worked our whole lives building this country, with our sweat and tears. So now we should just go away. What can we do? This is turning into a serious situation. We are way too old to start over and try to do over it all. And many of us, when we retired, thought we would be o.k. as interest paid to us on our savings was a lot higher. And pensions were suposeidly there.

Why can't we as average persons have a COLA when the top government officials get one automatically? At a rate that is equal to a whole years pay for most seniors on social security?

You might also call your governor's office to see if they can pull a rabbit out of a hat for you. The folks who assist with Medicare/Medicaid are pulling only from their subset of rabbit-filled hats, while the governor's staff may know of more. I am acquainted with a few people locally who have benefitted from making that call.

Pearlygirl does enjoy her pool, but this one took some getting used to as it's smaller than her previous one.
