Hi Gazza (and everyone else)

The Auction Bytes Blog are looking for good press releases from sites other than feebay. They say they only get press releases from feebay and none of the other sites.

I would ask that all other ebidders who post on other forums etc, help me in promoting ebid. All the other sites get lots of mention, but ebid hardly ever does, and yet to my mind ebid is the best alt site.

If it is true as stated that this popular site regularly contacts auction sites asking for their news I can only wonder why eBid hasn't taken them up on their offer? Not even when they had a lovely newly designed site to boast about? Five million views per month is not to be sneezed at! Hopefully eBid will submit something regularly now - and it is FREE - well spotted Julie!

Particularly liked this bit of the article: - "They seem to depend on sellers carrying their message around the Internet. Earth to alternative sites: PR is YOUR responsibility. You can't expect your users to do all your work for you.".... I am always happy to do what I can to publicise eBid - but have never understood why it ALL comes down to members?

Yes I did.
They emailed me back saying thanks for the good idea.
They said they had some projects coming up and they would think about doing press releases the.
And thank you for my interest and goodwill etc.
