editing quantities

sold 3 items on a listing of 3
relisted as I had another and edited quantity to 1, checked later and it says 3, edited a few mins ago and set it to 1, back to listing and 3 avaliable again, added a note and edited to 1 again..

This is quite an oddity that many members know about.

The only way to change the quantity is to 'close' the auction (not delete) - wait a few minutes for it to appear in your unsold folder.

Once there, click on the item title link - it will take you to a page with a "repost this auction" link

Click on it and it will take you to the edit page where you can finally change your item amount.

Once done, go through the usual motions of saving.

thanx, was going to try that next but thought I would leave it running for a while incase it helped to find the problem for gazza.
will close and repost tonite.
other listings inc those done at the same time using sell similar from that listing seem ok

It's annoying, but it's not a bug as such. The system is geared so that you cannot change a listing of 1 to many, or many to 1, as this is changing the nature of the listing. What's silly is that it does't warn you.
