Search engine: Yet another problem.

When carrying out a search for closed items using Advanced Search on the main navigation bar no results are returned. However, if you then click on Search again...results are returned.

Further playing with the above reveals that sometimes results are returned but the number is different between the two searches. It appears that the pre-ticked 'Search Closed' is being ignored on the second search.

It seems the search engine is down completely Gazza, I've just copied this auction title Laurel & Hardy Vol 1; Be Big and pasted it exactly how I've written it and it show's that there are no auctions with that title. Yet it is still live.

It choking on the semicolon. Omit that and the search works.

The eBid search engine really does need sorting out. As I said elsewhere - if the search engine doesn't work then the site doesn't work.

yes gazza as advised to by astral, it seems the semi colon I used was confusing the system.
