    :-) we could argue this one round in circles... If the package had been lost I could claim the full amount I had insured it for (£80) and would have got it because it WAS lost, but because it was returned to me I cant even though I am out of pocket by the £7.00 postage.... which is all I wanted to claim

    Well I think the buyer should pay for the item to be re-sent.
    and if the buyer requires a refund, then the £7.00 should be deducted from the refund.

    the buyer, who happens to be a dealer as well, and I will sort something out....

    But it was not the buyers fault that he didn't get the item as the office WAS open and therefore there is no real reason for the non-delevery...

    I'm just narked that between us we have to repay to send it out again... like I said if it had been "lost in the post" neither of us would be out of pocket, as I would have refunded him, then I would have claimed from our post office service
