How long does this take to get started?

I have been with Ebay for ten years, and it is pretty easy. I've been trying since yesterday to get my account set up, and scanned utility bills and drivers license. But i still cannot get my account to open up. What am I doing wrong? Is Ebid always this difficult?

Why are you scanning utility bills and your driving license for ebid? Someone correct me if I am wrong but I am sure they do not request that from you so I would contact ebid support here support@ebid.net as it sounds like you are pushing the wrong buttons some where

I registered with eBid 2 years ago and had no such hastle. They asked me for name, address etc for buyer memebershp and I didn't need to scan any paperwork to upgrade my registration to seller. The only thing I had to do was sort out payment, which I did for lifetime. I know that they do have a stipulation that all addresses given have to agree - this could be where the problem lies with your registration / membership.

It took two or three days for everything to get processed when we joined. But I did NOT have to send them copies of bills or my drivers license. I do think you should send an email to eBid support to find out why they asked for them.

i was up and running right away! something is not right there. i did not have to provide any thing like that aside from my paypal info to pay for my seller+ fees.

Looks like OP is now Seller+, hopefully everything is sorted out. Must have been some issue with an address on an account and he had to prove his residence for whatever reason. Maybe we will hear from him soon?
