Default the great feedback debate an answer!?

I have been shot down on this in the past about getting automatic possitive feedback if none has been left after say 3 months, so how about a counter somewhere (probably on the about me page) that clocks up your total sales to date, so that buyers can see that you have sold say 100 items even if only 20 have left feedback. I could just add one myself (is this allowed?) but an official one would be more trusted.

Quite a few of us have suggested something similar, or supported other calls for it.

Sorry - not interested in feedback. Yes, it is nice to receive, but it is sales that is important. As soon as an item is paid for I leave feedback for the buyer - it serves as a 'thank you' and also informs that payment has cleared. But return feedback should be totally voluntary... I would opt out of any reminders if possible.

I'm not fussed as a recipient, but then I've got plenty so I can afford to be relaxed. As a buyer I like it if sellers have locally acquired feedback so I can see how things have gone. If they had none, but showed a decent number of sales, I'd assume they hadn't annoyed anybody too badly. :-)))

This is my point exactly, it seems that not everyone cares about there feedback score, I would like to get it for every sale, but would settle for any buyer knowing that I have plenty of sales and very good feedback to back that up.

The big problem for eBid is it will also show how many sellers have none or very few sales
My posts only state my own opinions, unless I've stolen them from someone else

How is truth a problem? If they have zero, it should say zero. And currently does.

If they have zero feedback and 100 sales, what is wrong with posting the number of transactions?
