Default Stop advertising other auction sites

It is very frustrating when you are trying to sell your items on Ebid and every time you log on, you see an advertisement directing potential customers to another auction site.

Yes you would think they could filter those sites out.

I don't think it is that simple, Julie. These advertisements, I think I am right in saying, form a large part of eBid's revenue.
But it does seem rather like the Daily Mail advertising the Daily Express - a bit counter-productive.

It would be more like the Oatmeal Marketer's Weekly* advertising the Daily Telegraph... completely irrelevant, since everybody's already heard of the Telegraph. ;o)

*Never miss an issue myself, but not many people have heard of it.

.. I can't say I notice advertising much.. other than links beneath peep's entries and the closing auctions down the left hand side - big grin
    - anyway I would rather have advertising than me paying for it through listing fees etc...

Isn't that like saying because everyone has heard of eBay eBid should run ads for them here?
