You want $77 US for something that is uaed has missing parts paint damage, plus your shipping cost are over priced you have $26 US this item on its best day is less than a pound and I'll give you a pound for shipping should not be more than $14.00 US and the Die cast itself is not more than $25.00 MSRP when it was new. Now I'm starting to see why no one come to this site people like you Over charging for item and shipping. You also state Item has Spun hubs and all tyres are good. What is Tyres do you mean Tires
People are coming to this site. More than half our buyers this month were new members.

Don't blame eBid for the actions of one person.

However, just so you know, many words are spelled differently in the U.S. and the U.K. Neither spelling is wrong, it depends on the person.

hi i have made many purchases here and look here first before i go elsewhere. i have only made one sale here (not including ydc of course) but i guess with time and letting my customers know where i am will help. i have improted my feedback because i worked hard to get it and thought that the people who shop here would not look at my stuff because i had no feedback. i started out buying here and will continue to do so not only because the products are good but because most of the sellers i have dealt with are great
good luck to all and try not to be so harsh to eachother.

Last week i was looking for a rare, very old magazine. I had scoured eBay to no avail and had put the magazine title in Google and checked the box to search just UK websites. Nothing came up and I was running out of ideas. I then changed the Google setting to search the whole Web. One of the search results on the SECOND page of results was the Canadian site of eBid - note it was the 2nd page (I really wanted to find this magazine so was persistent!!).
I looked on the Canadian eBid website and found this magazine I was looking for and it would be shipped to Canada from the UK - to cut a very long story short I found the same item on the UK eBid site, registered and bought the magazine. It came the other day and I was very pleased with the whole transaction.
I am pleased that I found the magazine, however until all my lengthy searching, I had never heard of eBid. I was also surprised that the UK eBid site did not turn up anywhere on the Google search engine when just looking at UK sites.
It seems that the eBid powers that be need to up their marketing game to spread the word if they are going to be a realistic alternative to eBay.
i would consider selling here on eBid, but it seems that you would have to upgrade the account to Seller + status - at a fee. this fee would require a lot of (possibly non-existent?) sales to make the enterprise cost effective.
My verdict - whilst pleased with my one purchase, I remain unconvinced about eBid. It is very user - unfriendly too.

Just curious about your experience here eBid ... What aspects were user unfriendly, in your opinion?

I won four items yesterday, four more today and hopefully will have a winning bid tomorrow as well.

Excellent! Best advertisement for ebid is all of the items that it downloads to google, around the clock. As sellers we are so pleased that we have a continuous stream of good buyers, like you, coming off of google. This is the shopping online of the future. I like google because I can find all kinds of websites and listings for unusual items. Would never have known they existed if I had searched on feebay and much greater variety!

Yes, seller+ is available, and for many sellers it is a good deal. No listing/relisting fees ever, that is how we can keep stores stocked with 500 or 1000 or 2000 items. Gives buyers greater selection and costs the seller nothing.

New sellers do well if they change their strategy, listings, policies, terms to attract the buyers on google. We always help them via the forums and there are lots of marketing/selling tips here to help them make the changes. This needs to be done because we have a totally different customer base here (buyers come from google, ebid buyers, old feebay buyers, and our own marketing, versus feebay's one customer base, feebay members). if a seller makes the changes suggested, they usually get their first sales within 1-2 weeks. Only you can decide if the move is right for you. It means making changes, and initially working a bit harder to set up. But if you keep a nice variety of goods on ebid, work hard to make the changes suggested, you can look forward to daily sales on ebid.

I occasionally buy things on here but only ever buy what i want or need. I bought 2 items today that were much cheaper than anywhere else. I feel that both buyers and sellers get a great deal from this site.

Hi Marie, I guess that i am perhaps too used to eBay, so maybe I am trying to use eBid in the same way to find things.
For example, I was trying to find auctions with several pieces of aida fabric (various colours) for cross stitch. I went to the crafts section in 'Buy' and there were loads of different craft sub categories but no subcategory for Cross Stitch. I have no idea where I should look for my cross stitch fabric. I put 'cross stitch' into the search box and it came up with hundreds of all sorts of cross stitch items - patterns, kits, charts, threads etc. I haven't got the time or inclination to wade through all the hundreds of auctions. On eBay there is a Cross Stitch subcategory under Crafts, and within that further subcategories so there is a Cross Stitch Fabric sub category and within that you can further search for item specifics like colour, count etc.
Sorry if that gets a bit detailed, and if you're not into cross stitch it might all sound like gobbledegook. I have some major issues with eBay (that's a whole other topic!!!!) but you cannot fault the ease of finding what you want and easily being able to buy it.
i would have to think long and hard about selling things on eBid because I am not convinced there is always an appropriate category for my items, so I would worry about Buyers actually being able to find my Items.
maybe I just know what I am looking for on the eBay screen, but I find my eyes on eBid being assaulted by too much information which is not easy to digest.
I think I'll probably get used to eBid if I persevere long enough, I just don't think I can quite be bothered though!! :-)
