Moving Categories Up or Down...

I've been trying to move a sub-cat in my categories list of The Book Rack this morning...nothing is moving...up or down. I refer to the section called Section 3) Add or Edit Your Store Categories.

I've tried to move them up...I've tried to move them down...keeps saying 'saving your changes' but always end up at square one...glitch, perhaps?

Yes, quite often.
Try again a few days later and it sometimes works okay.
Yesterday it was not working. Have not tried again today.
We don't consider it that important to waste time on.
Been happening like this for years.

Our current problem, which is a problem is trying to edit a listing and add additional numbers of items available - say from 3 to 5. This quite often does not work so we just relist and then have to remove the initial listing. This procedure does waste a lot of time as we often have many items (10-30) to alter every day.
If we don't remove the initial listing quickly enough we get an email stating that a listing or listings have been removed as it goes against ebid's listing policy. When this happens it creates a massive task in checking what listings may or may not have been moved.

My recollection from last time I tried it, is that it's particular positions that don't work (fnarr, fnarr). I seem to recall not being able to move the bottom one up, but if you move the one above down, you can then shift it further up if you wish.

I was trying to do this yesterday. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't???
