"Buyer requires immediate Payment" is a simple idea that works well for some sellers so let them that want to have it. If you don't want to use it then don't.

Yep...you are right....if any Seller likes use it if don't, just don't use....

I had considered the refund option...............sounds like an ok option.
The reason I say 7 days is because some people don't access their PC daily, and think over 7 days is too long to keep someone elses money, some may think 7 days is too long

I post the next day (or same day if possible) if the address is straight forward (matches eBid and payment processor), I'm on about if the payment processor address and eBid address is not the same I send an email to the buyer requesting which address they want it posting to. The reasons I do that are
    a) In case someones account has been hacked
    b) To abide with payment processor rules
    c) I don't want it going to a wrong address which the buyer has moved from but they forgot to change their address/es

I disagee. I have daily sales and have a non payer every couple of months. That is not enough or me to worry about. Other sellers, especially new ones seem to have many non payers. Whether they are selected to get the sale w/ no pay because they are new, or if they push so hard to get the money fast that the buyer pulls out, I don't know. We don't have enough data to figure out why non pays happens. Seems to also depend on what they sell, depends on how they sell it. Lots of tuff rough sellers who make lots of demands on buyers, get more of them. Probably done to just poke them with a stick to get them irritated like kid will do to a grumpy toad!!!

Before we ask that features be added to fix "problems" we need to know how extensive the problems are.

And yes, they occur on other sites all the time. Especially since more shoppers are now going from site to site and not shopping only on one that knows them

I go with 1 day following cleared payment up to 3 days (if payment falls on non-postal/shipping day or holiday); and to a confirmed addy either thru PP or buyer for all the reasons specified by Rainy. This is listed clearly in my shipping policy on my About Me Page.

Well Girl you don't selling alone I this site and not are every Seller like you, I just try to explain for the Sellers who have non-paying Buyers I mean The Sellers who have sales 4 or 5 a sample in couple months only or The Sellers who are ''brand new'' and straight away have non-paying Buyer...because all this stuff is going to hurt this Auction site and many new Buyers spread word about it...We need to keep in here new Sellers for old Sellers one like many is not going anywhere anyway...I just try to help this Auction site and I have some of sales with non-paying buyers but no big deal for me , I have Buyers who buy and don't leave Feedback, but two important things for me I help this site and I going to list in here about minimum thousand my items or more in coming days but I buy from this site too for some of sellers for item which I like it this is going to help this site too in one way...and I always pay straight away I always if I sell send my item in next business day I always give discount for my items and I always can send to you any of my item whenever you like from Europe to Africa for cheap shipping and if any Buyer buy two or more my items I charge only for first item rest of my items 2 or a 100 I send for free...well this going to help this site too....in the end I just try to help...
