Thread: Is it possible to include the SKU on the invoice?

  1. #1

Default Is it possible to include the SKU on the invoice?

I just finished filling a very large order. In order to get the SKU, which tells me where to find the physical item, I had to print the invoices, open each listing (using the eBid ID number), find the SKU and write it down. Very time-consuming.

The invoice has a lot of white space. Would it be possible to include the SKU under the ID number? I don't know how many characters you allow in the SKU field. If it could get too big, perhaps print the first 10 or 12 characters.

Good idea. It would definitely speed things up with large orders of multiple items! If it's any consolation, I'm still trying to get admin to make our SKUs "searchable" when on the Items I'm Selling Page...that would be soooooo great! Hope this new idea related to SKUs happens, too...fingers and toes crossed!

These are both extremely time-saving ideas. I would like these two ideas implemented also, please.

Just had another multiple sale. No SKUs on the invoice. Sigh . . . .

Open the listing, write down the SKU, close.

    etc.
    etc.
    etc.

    Bump . . .

When I click on a sale in ''my ebid' - my skus appear on the right - i just copy and paste them from there.

After I read this, I went back to "My eBid." The first page It brings up is all the recently sold items in a page titled "My eBid Summary", containing only the items we've sold. No SKUs. So I started poking around and discovered the tiny word "sold" in the left panel. I have never clicked on that before, because I thought it brought up the page I was looking at.

Oofdah! It's a DIFFERENT list of the sold items, titled "Auctions I Ran." All the SKUs are there! I wonder how many hours I would have saved if I had ever looked at this before.

Thank you. Just goes to prove there's always something more to learn.

I also discovered I can copy the top line (title, eBid ID number, and SKU) into my packing list. That will REALLY speed things up next time.
